Blueberry Mountain Bible Camp & Conference Center

exists to introduce children, young people and adults to Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord; to train believers to use biblical principles in daily living; to serve the Christian community by providing a wholesome, relaxing environment for spiritual growth and Christian fellowship.

Blueberry Mtn. Bible Camp is a 501-(c) (3) non-profit tax exempt organization regulated by U.S and Maine statutes.

Blueberry Mtn. Bible Camp is a missions work having started in the early 1960’s by Qureken and Jo Diradourian.  They desired to have a place in Maine where boys, girls, men and women could come and spend time in the Bible, learning about God and His creation.  They donated the land to BCM Intl. (Bible Centered Ministries, which at that time was called Bible Club Movement), a missions agency, for that purpose.  Since then, the land has been under development, several out buildings have been constructed and the lodge continues to be completed.

Being a missions work means that churches and individuals financially support Blueberry as their missionary.  Blueberry becomes their missionary work.  Without their help, we would not be able to provide retreats and camps at a reasonable and reduced cost to those who come.  Camps costs are more than just the retreat income.

Being a missions work means that there are individuals, who volunteer their time during retreats and summer camp, helping in the kitchen, feeding fires, cleaning, counseling and helping in other areas.  We have groups that come and take Blueberry on as a short term missions trip, helping their people learn missions and helping us with projects that a small staff can not do on their own.  We can not do this work alone.

Being a missions work means having full-time staff that are missionaries who draw no salary from camp Churches and individuals support those staff members through BCM Intl. This also helps keep costs down.

Being a missions work means that all staff at camp is volunteer.  All the cooking, cleaning, maintenance, grounds work, vehicle work and upkeep is done by those who come alongside and help us in this ministry.  We, as a small staff, are not able to do this ministry alone.   We seek churches and individuals to come alongside and help us with the physical work.

There are many projects that we have to do, or must get done.  They include cut, split and stack wood, (in the winter reload fireplace areas) rake and mow lawns, carpentry, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, welding, drafting, tree cutting, construction, road maintenance, painting & staining, window washing, trim work, general maintenance, cleaning, secretarial and computer, kitchen and dining hall duties, grounds work, flower garden tending, programming, snow shoveling as well as summer camp staff needs and whatever else needs to be done.
